Flashes. Possibilities. Colors. Alternate endings. Fable meditated in the darkness, beseeching the spirit realm for answers. The lights of the glow worms above bent and warped around him, pouring into rivers of blue light that swirled into images and pictures.

As soft sounds began to echo from the entrance of his cavern, it almost physically hurt to tear himself from the plane of consciousness he was traveling on in order to turn and face the approaching wolves.
