Lost Sons (Dahlia x Hiero - DotW RP)HieronymusThe news of Ambrose's disappearance had hit him like a herd of Bison. Neglecting his duties, Hiero had spent days roaming the territory frantically, calling out for his lost brother. Through Glasmuir to the Southern Gates, around Beithwood to the north, and even a longer trip to Loch Soilse- all had passed by in a frenzied blur. He had barely stopped by the main camp to eat and sleep in fits, and by the end of the week he was near hysterical. His cries to his brother turned to vicious curses, aimed at himself and all of the Gods that he could name. Ambrose would not have left of his own will without a word to his family, he simply wouldn't have, and the unspoken thought of what must have befallen him hung over Hiero's head like the jaws of some terrible beast, unspeakable. This was an unimaginable failure. He would have fought to the death for any one of his siblings, if only the world would give him something to fight!
We're Still a Family ((Zinnia x Hiero - DotW RP))Setting: Vale territory near Ironhold, late Winter.Hiero"Zinnia!"Hiero had been looking for her everywhere. She hadn't been around the healer's quarters, or anywhere in the main camp. It was an odd time of day, to be sure, sometime between late afternoon and early evening. Still, he had hoped to find her before heading home. Their small family had been strained to new limits of late, and he was worried about his siblings. His search had taken him into the woods south of the camp, seeking out the sun-dappled spots he remembered she had favored for her bug-watching habit. The once mossy ground was now crusted in ice and snow- he knew it wasn't the time of year for it, but he supposed she might still come around to... check on them? What did bugs even do in the winter?"Zin?" He tried again, more softly, ending it with a sigh. Vale's territory was fairly vast, and she could be anywhere. If he didn't find any luck here, he
A Warrior's Way ((DotW RP - Ruzan x Fitu))RuzanRuzan took another few steps toward the alpha's den. She shot a questioning look back at her guide, only to find an empty corridor behind her. She was comforted to know that she was not considered much of a threat, but had no idea how to proceed from here. Was there a traditional greeting? Some sort of custom she should follow?Thinking back on all that she had picked up about Heyl during her short time in the territory, she realized just how little she actually knew. There had been a period of strife and sickness that had affected the alpha and the pack as a whole deeply, that much was clear, though she did not know the details. All mention of those times seemed tinged with a deep sadness, and she did not wish to cross any boundaries as an outsider. She understood that the pack held itself to a responsibility to care for the sick and injured, but now that she was undeniably well, she half expected them to send her on her way. They had
