Whoa! :wow: I almost don't see your unique art style that you always used on your ATLA arts when I'm looking at your CC art. :shocked:

When I looked and stared at it for a long time, the style you've used on this art is very different from all the ATLA and non-ATLA arts that you'd created. Could this means that you've "entered the next stage of evolution"? :hmm:

If you don't understand or confused of what I'm saying/write, just forget about it. :XD:

CC's eyes, however, looks kinda lonely and sad when I stared at them for long time. As if they're ready to... shed tears. I don't know, probably it's just my feelings. ^^;

Don't worry about the colors Kelly, they're look fine to me. The light that reflects and shines off the hair makes it almost look like a polished jade stone. :)

Sorry that I didn't sent any comment to some of your arts that you had posted on DA. It's just... they're so good that I didn't have the right comment to be given to you. If I didn't sent any comment, that doesn't mean that I don't like it. They're all look either good or excellent in front of my eyes. ;)

P.S. All the words that I had wrote above about "different art style" and "shed tears", I never meant to make you feel disappointed.

P.P.S. My stomach began to growl in hunger the moment I saw CC holding a slice of pizza and eat it in front of my eyes. Not kidding. ^^; :iconhungryplz:

Well, some people have said "Old school is better than new school". Some of my friends love to read horror comics that were drawn by two particular local artists in a local magazine which contains a variety of articles (comics/mangas drawn by local artists, games, animations, entertainment news).

They complained that the art styles used by these artists today for their horror comics are less frightening than the ones they often used ten years ago. But I'm glad they had changed their styles to new ones because ten years ago, those comics were so scary that I couldn't and scared to go to sleep for a couple of nights! :iconscaredplz: I don't know how my friends managed to slept well after they read those comics. :iconcuriosityplz:

What I meant was sometimes it is better for you to keep your old "ATLA" art styles intact while incorporating new art styles in new fanarts. It will make your fanarts distinctive but at the same time very recognizable due to your "unique signature" in them. ;)

Don't worry buddy. That doesn't mean I abandoned my "Avatar art style", in contrary, leaving it for a while is for a new development, cuz stuck in one style for too long just make me feel don't know what's right and wrong/good and bad anymore. I need to think /look /try something different then go back to it.
In my defination keep a style doesn't mean repeat, it still need absorb, applying and development. I know the risk of trying different stuff or shifting style, but I think it's worth doing. cuz after all, doing illustration is still bit differenct from doing manga or comic, the late one sells story rather than art works.
Thank you for you advise my friends :love:

it's more like my old style. I actually can do lots styles, I choose what style to use base on what fanart I'm doing. you can call the one I always used on my ATLA arts "Avatar style". ;). I Just don't want to be narrowed by one certain style. But develop several styles is never a easy thing. yes, it is a big dilemma...
