[hbd] Can't Stop Me

This was done in May of 2014.

Greetings everyone. First, a warning. My tablet had a panic attack, so I downloaded a new driver, but I don’t think it was meant for old Bamboo Fun tablets. My tablet’s working now, but it messed up a lot of my previous settings, and I can’t seem to get them back to where they once were. Forgive my messed up lineart and whatnot.

May is the month of birthdays, so I’ll be working on those for a bit. This one is for one of my dear online friends, KionaKina . I discovered her quite a few years ago as a non-artist on FAC, but then my best friend, Hokule , got me into art, so I joined the site in hopes that I’d make friends and improve. I’ve come a long way since then, and Kay-chan has helped inspire me to do so. I’m grateful for her friendship and the opportunity I have to draw pictures for her.

This pic is of Kay-chan’s third gen YuGiOh OC (basically YuGiOh 5Ds), Shiori. I’d never drawn her before, so I wanted to take the opportunity while it was available, and what better excuse than a birthday?
Not perfect, but I’d say she looks pretty good. I tried to match Kay-chan’s eye style for Shiori, which is harder than it looks.
