A reconstruction of one of the houses that the Vikings used to live in during the late Iron Age. Or Viking Age, as we say in Denmark, which lasted from about 400 to 1050 A.D. The whole complex is called the Trelleborg Viking Fortress and consisted of 16 similar houses encircled by a huge ring wall for protection.
