According to a new report from The Intercept, nearly 90 percent of people killed in recent drone strikes in Afghanistan "were not the intended targets" of the attacks.

Personally, I think that innocent civilians should not be living in war-zones.

Personally, I think war should not be conducted in innocent civilian areas.

If those areas hold enemies then perhaps not air strikes, but ground force.

Sometimes it takes a price to destroy an enemy such as ISIS.

All war takes a price.

Indeed, but sometimes that price is needed to end the oppressor.

Drones aren't so effective against countries with fighter aircraft and SAM networks.

When I was in Russia in 2014 2 drones were downed and captured by hacking that came from NATO countries. Never heard a peep on the media though.

It would probably have been too embarrassing for NATO if the media had revealed that. I suppose hacking will play an increasingly important role in modern warfare. Perhaps more important than the weapons themselves.

They only use these against places that are lower tech, just as the British Empire was most dominant against tribal groups that were armed with spears and wooden shields.
