I’m making a new series of illustrations I’m calling “Subversive Girls.”
These ladies are people whom others usually don’t think of as sexual beings in charge of their desires, illustrated as pin-ups.
I have ideas in mind already (amputee ladies, chubby ladies, tattooed ladies, disabled ladies, etc) but if you have ideas PLEASE suggest them to me. I’m open to your ideas.
I want to make this illustration series because I’m tired of seeing people proclaim “look at these sexy girls!” and then show nothing but skinny, able-bodied white girls. It’s not bad to think skinny, able-bodied white girls are sexy, but sexiness is SO MUCH MORE than that and can be experienced by anybody and any body.

but the fact remains that much of the abled world seems to want to believe that people with neurological differences or mental disabilities are all just asexual, which is kind of a ridiculous assumption.
And it really only serves as a false sense of security for those who'd like to live with that delusion because the alternative, that a person like myself or my children might still have a libido, is uncomfortable to them.
