I thought that an enormous, galactic, imperial superpower would disappear in 100 years. LOL. Actually they are not exactly gone, more like disbanded. The result of changing political ideals, and rebellion. A lot can happen in 100 years.

I always wondered, how do you make these pics, I've seen allot of similar ones around.
Well first of all you need to find a quality photograph of the galaxy. Then you use Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator or another graphics editing program and paint in these sections. To make it more accurate, find star maps, showing the galactic coordinates of stars and use that to determine where planets and star systems are and where then to put your various powers on the maps.
I meant of this specific milky way galaxy. I've seen quite a few of em on Deviant art, and this is the highest res one I could find, [link] but I can't find a blank one at that resolution...

I just did a google image search and specified a large size and kept searching until I found the highest res one I could
give them time, the Borg will be back.

They dissolved around the turn of the century. The founders had a change of heart so to speak. A slow one, but a change all the same.
Wow...the Borg is losing a lot of unimatrix areas. I guess when Voyager destroyed that hub, she must've crippled a good number of ways for the Borg to spread their influence.
