Thief: The Movie - poster

Coming soon. :XD:

Some time ago, taffers speculated about "if there would be a film about Thief, what actors could play in it?". IMHO these three are best as these particular protagonists, but I know there are other good propositions.

I've just returned to my old unfinished concept, so let it be that making this piece took me around 2 days.
This work contains 18 layers in GIMP - probably it's my personal record. :boogie:

I've already bought a ticket, and you? xD

PS. Should I allow this poster to be used as a print or something? Dunno.

Jack Nicholson as the Trickster? Thats actually pretty fitting XD

Thanks :D Some other options are good for the role too, but personally this is m favorite. :)

Neat! I always pictured Stephen Russell himself as Garrett, since he's already an actor. It just fits, and then you get the voice spot-on as well. Of course, the looks are a bit different, but with movie magic, who knows? This is awesome, and I thank you for sharing it with us! Love your personal review at the top too! ;)

Yeah, that would be natural in some way, but he should drop some kilograms/pounds first (sorry for the sincerity, Steve...). ;)

You're welcome! :D Yup, I didn't want to imitate any review magazines etc., so I used some kind of humor here. Thanks! ^^

Oh wow, I hadn't even realized! Blush  I hadn't seen a recent picture of him until you mentioned that.

It was very well done, I thought. :) You're welcome! :yay:

You know who is basically the best actor to play the Trickster?
Anthony Hopkins.
Bam.

B-) (Cool)
(no seriously, I had this idea years ago, but a few years ago I saw him in "The Rite" and omg his performance just prove me right)

Anyway, awesome wallpaper XD

Holy shit youre right!

Thanks :) I didn't watch "The Rite", one day I'll check it out since you recommend it. :)

It's an amazng movie if you're interested in movies about exorcism :) (In that case, also check out "Deliver Us From Evil" from 2014. Awesome stuff :D)

Sounds good, these kind of movies aren't really foreign to me. ;)

But I'd rather watch "Thief: The Movie" anyway. :D

Heh, this is pretty great! Especially the text below the cast. :XD:

I couldn't honestly pick any actor Garrett. He has a different face in every cutscene in all three games. :P In my opinion, a Thief movie would work best as an animation.

I'd honestly pay to see Thief as an anime...but maybe I'm just taffed in the head, lol!

Live action, cutscene style, anime, stop motion -- I'd go to see it in any case. :XD:

Ah, same here.

Yeah, thanks xD

Yes, sadly this is so inconsistent. Some people points Christian Bale as Garrett, what do you think of him in this role? And yes, a full-time lenght animation, style-related to the cutscenes would be great.

Nah, by his looks I wouldn't get very excited of him acting Garrett. Don't get me wrong, it's not that he's not handsome enough -- he just doesn't look like Garrett to me. Maybe in case that they can't find anyone else, lol. :XD: I don't have anything to say about his acting skills though since I haven't seen any of the movies he's been in (I know, shame on me).

Yeah, animation can play with style and shadows in a way live action movie never could.

I see. Wow, this is kind of achivement I guess :D
