Artist's Toolbox: Watercolor equipment II
✿   Watercolor Equipment II - Additional Tools In the first week of Artist's Toolbox, we discussed basic Watercolor Equipment such as paper, brushes and paints. Second week's article presents additional tools, equipment that some artists use to enhance their watercolor creations or just for the fun of it, however none of them is crucial to create a watercolor painting. I divided these tools into two categories - those used to Create Highlights and those used to Create Textures. Bottom part of this article belongs to our watercolorists and their Personal Experience regarding additional tools. 1. Creating Highlights ✐ Masking

:star: I have been a fan of R.A.Salvatore's character Drizzt Do'Urden for many years now, so I decided to feature some of the Drizzt works here on DeviantART. :star:

Who is Drizzt Do'Urden? Drizzt is a fictional character created by author R.A. Salvatore. The Legend of Drizzt series is set in the Forgotten Realms along side books such as the Elminster series. Drizzt himself is a drow (dark elf) that forsakes the evil nature of his kin and leaves the Underdark to dwell on the surface. Along with his faithful companion Guenhwyvar (a magical panther summoned from a tiny statue) Drizzt faces a number of obstacles (his race being one of the big issues) and he finds himself in many adventures and journeys along with his friends: Catti-brie, Bruenor, Wulfgar, and Regis being the main ones.

The books themselves have become extremely popular (the first one was released 20 years ago) and are even currently being made into a graphic novel series. Drizzt and his friends have appeared in the D&D games (most have been made into miniatures) and sword replicas of his twin scimitars have been created. He's so popular now, that I honestly can't help but wonder when a movie is going to be popping up.

Thanks for adding my art to your feature! If you would like to see the artwork of the guy who actually works for Wizards of the Coast and illustrates Drizzt look up Todd Lockwood. He is very open and willing to talk to other artists.

Yes! A collection of awesomeness. Now I don't have to troll around when I'm in a Drizzt mood, they're all right here. XDD As fora movie, that would be awesome, as long as it doesn't turn out anything like the other D&D movies they've made. -shudders- I might have to die, although if it's epic like the Lord of the Rings ones, then I'm all for it. XD
