Description
Well I finally thought I should take some close up sots of some of my old Legend of Drizzt plushies I made last year.
This is my first and favourite plushie I have made to date (and not just because its Drizzt) and as you can tell I have sewn him quite the wardrobe including a real chain mail shirt. What he's usually seen weiring is the plain shirt and brown pants (top pic) but sometimes he's dressed up in his chain mail (I learned how to make chain mail by hand a few years ago) and green cloak (with the fur) (bottom left). But one day (after watching to much Pirates of the Caribbean) I decided to sew him a little pirate coat (bottom right), now all he needs is a pirate hat. ^^ Yes, I know I'm a freak.
His skin is made from regular black broad cloth. The eyes and mouth are just painted on with acrylic paint. The scimitars are completely made from fabric (and stuffed). The Guenhwyvar (panther) was just an old stuffed toy I had that just so happened to be the right size for him.
As with all my plushies, I use no pattern. I simply start cutting and go from there.
