"Kec, what the heck are we doing here?" Leon, the purple colored Kecleon, asked his green-colored brother as they walked through a non-particular forest. "This better not be another brunch with Jeff the Killer or something else like that that I wasn't told about!"

Kec rolled his eyes. "Dude, it's nothing like that. At least, not today. I'm just meeting an old friend in another town. I think."

"'You think?' Really?" Leon said, shaking his head. He sighed deeply, and said, "I don't know why I go along with all of this stupid stuff you do."

Kec slid up next to his brother. "Because you love me, of course."

Leon rolled his eyes and began a snide reply, when Kec suddenly held his arm out, cutting him off, and sniffed the air. "Do you smell that?" Kec said, his eyes closed in concentration.

"Smell what?" Leon said, not sensing any strange odor as he looked around. Suddenly, he noticed his brother had disappeared. "Kec? Kec, where'd you go, dude?"

Leon heard a bush rustle in the distance, and sighed, "Oh, not again..." Without any other leads to follow, the purple Kecleon decided to follow the peculiar sound deeper into the woods.

***************

After a few minutes of trekking through the woods, Leon finally found Kec standing in the middle of a clearing. In front of the green Kecleon was a plate of fresh, steaming pancakes, laden with thick maple syrup, resting on an old, rotting stump. Kec began to stretch his hand towards the pancakes when Leon yelled, "Stop, Kec!"

Kec retracted his hand abruptly and turned to his brother. "What? I missed breakfast this morning."

Leon slowly began to step towards him, his hands raised. "Think about it, Kec. There's a plate of freshly made pancakes out in the middle of the forest. Don't you find that just the least bit suspicious?"

Kec furrowed his eyebrows, thinking, and replied, "Nope. I don't think so." The little lizard Pokémon turned back around to enjoy his meal, when he saw someone was enjoying his meal for him. It was a pink-furred, quadrupedal creature, with more reddish fur tufts on her ears and the end of her poofy tail. She stood at eye level with Kec and her belly hung down somewhat from her frame. And hanging from her fanged mouth was one of the pancakes from the plate, dripping maple syrup all over her fluffy fur. She only managed to make out a quick, sheepish "Hi," when a rope snapping somewhere caused the twosome to suddenly fly into the tree above, completely entangled in a thick, rope net.

"Kec!" "Shamy!" was suddenly called out from two sources. One came from Leon, but the other came from a small, light-blue dragon who ran out of the forest into the clearing. She was about the same size as the pink, furry creature, though her stomach bulged noticeably less. The two of them suddenly noticed each other, and they both jumped back in shock.

"Wh-What's a dragon doing all the way out here?" Leon asked, "And, what's that pink creature with my brother?"

The dragon suddenly looked offended. "Hey! Shamy's a dragon, too! She's just furry instead of scaly. And what are a couple of Pokémon doing out here?"

Leon wasn't sure what was more surprising, the fact that he was talking to a dragon, or that that dragon knew what a Pokémon was. Stuttering slightly, he responded, "I-It's a long story."

"Yeah, same." The dragon turned up to look at the two, who were still struggling in the net. "Let's cut those two down, okay?"

Leon nodded, and the two started towards the tree, but then an sinister laugh echoed through the canopy. "Well, well, well. I knew those pancakes would do the trick. I just never expected it to work so quickly." A figure emerged from the woods, a human dressed in a black and white jester outfit with a red cape flowing down his back. Following closely behind him were seven floating balls, each of a different color and with a different expression. The man chuckled snidely. "Now, you are in my power, Shamy and-" The man stopped as he saw Kec in the net with Shamy. "W-What?! You're not Yuki! Who are you?!" the man demanded from the little lizard, his eyes wide as saucers.

"I'm a Kecleon!" Kec answered earnestly.

The man stepped back, surprised. "Uhhh..."

The red ball grumbled, "Can't we just kill this guy?"

The yellow ball chuckled with glee, "Yes, that sounds fun!"

The blue ball sighed, "This is just great. I figured this was going to be easy..."

The green ball cheered, "This looks like fun!"

The pink ball giggled, a lustrous glint in its eye, "Oh, he looks nice. Maybe I can play with him for a bit."

The orange ball quivered, "Can we just go home? I'm really not feeling up to this..."

The purple ball blew a raspberry, then rolled upside down and began reciting Shakespeare in Mandarin.

"So, it is you, Tenebris!" The din of the conversation between them silenced when they looked behind them and saw the blue dragon standing there, glaring at them.

"Yuki! There you are!" The man exclaimed. He then looked to the balls around him. "Balls, fetch her for me!"

"We're ovaloids, actually," Purple suddenly announced

Tenebris, as well as the other balls, was taken aback by Purple's sudden coherency, which disappeared as soon as it appeared while he was singing the alphabet while throwing in the occasional fruit into the mix. "What? I- Look, I don't care. Just go!"

The balls obeyed and jumped out at the two protagonists. Yuki braced herself for a counterattack, when Leon jumped in front of her, his claws extended, and shouted, "Slash!" He raked his claws across the faces of all of them and knocked them away.

Yuki looked at him, shocked. Leon looked back at her and, after seeing her expression, said, "What? I'm a Pokémon, right? I'm supposed to battle."

Yuki shook her head, knocking her out of her momentary daze, and nodded. "Right, thanks. But, I can fight too, you know."

"Well, now's your chance to prove it. Here they come!" The balls had regrouped and (literally) rolled forward to meet them again.

Yuki jumped forward and whacked away Red and Green with her tail and blew her ice breath on Orange, turning him into a ball-shaped icicle, while Leon grabbed Blue with his tongue and (again, literally) bowled him into the other balls.

Tenebris growled. "Oh, come on! These guys are just useless. Guess I'll have to-" He stopped when he felt a light tugging on his pant leg. He looked down and saw the green Kecleon at his feet.

"Excuse me, but do you have any more pancakes? Me and Shamy finished off the rest, and we're still hungry." Kec gestured to the fluffy pink dragon, who was licking off the plate.

Tenebris jumped back, gaping in shock. "Wh-What?! How did you two escape my incredible rope net?"

"Incredible, sure. But it's still rope." Kec shrugged, gesturing his extended claws as an obvious hint. "So, about those pancakes..."

Just then, Tenebris got knocked back by having all of his minions slam into him and having them spiral into the ground. While he was distracted with Kec and Shamy, Leon and Yuki finished their fight, having little to no trouble dispatching them. The two of them high-fived each other, since by the looks of their opponents, they had emerged victorious, and they did so quite handily.

Tenebris slowly picked himself up. "H-How did my ingenious plan fail? How?"

"Because it sucked!" Shamy yelled from the sidelines.

"Ooh, burn!" Kec called out next to her.

Suddenly, Tenebris' personality took a complete 180, and he cackled wildly. "You have beaten me today, but I will...RETURN!!!" He cried out this last word as he ran off into the forest as fast as he could, the balls hurriedly trying to catch up.

Leon stared off after him, sweatdropping. "Um, that was..."

"...interesting?" Yuki offered.

Leon shrugged, "Yeah, and a little lame, too."

Then, Yuki got tackled, as Shamy charged up and playfully stood over her. "Yay, Yuki's the winner!"

As the two of them laughed together, Kec leaned on Leon's shoulder. "Boy, that was some tough work, huh?"

Leon glared at his brother. "Seriously? I was the one who was fighting! What did you do?"

"Well, someone had to finish off those pancakes, right? I'm just lucky Shamy was there to help."

Leon sighed, giving up on the argument, before walking over to Yuki. "Hey, Yuki!" The dragon turned to him and the Kecleon held out his paw. "Thanks for helping me save my brother."

The dragon smiled and held out her paw, similar to a dog, and shook Leon's paw. "And thank you for helping me as well! Though, to be honest, Tenebris is more of an annoyance than a real villain."

Suddenly, a loud sneeze echoed through the forest. Everyone turned to the noise, but soon ignored it.

"Anyways, we never introduced ourselves properly. My name's Yuki, and this is Shamy!" The blue dragon said, first gesturing to herself, and then to her friend, who smiled in response.

"Well, I'm Kec, and this is Leon! And we're the Kecleon Twins!" Kec said excitedly. Leon worriedly looked at him, before adding quietly, "It's just a title my brother came up with for the both of us. Just roll with it."

"Hey, maybe we should have an awesome title for the two of us! How about the Dragon Twins?" Shamy looked at her friend expectantly. Yuki simply replied, "Um, no, Shamy. I don't think we need a title like that." Shamy pouted at Yuki's rejection, but didn't argue back.

Leon sighed. "So, I suppose we should be going our separate ways, then. Kec has somewhere to be, right, bro?" Leon turned to his brother, but the green Kecleon just stared back at him, blankly. "You completely forgot why we came here, didn't you?"

"Yup!" Kec said, with a very inappropriate level of enthusiasm. Leon exhaled deeply, pinching the bridge of his nose.

Yuki giggled. "Well, if you want, you could come with us. We were just going to see some friends of ours ourselves, and I bet they'd be more than happy to meet you guys, especially after what happened here!"

Kec and Leon looked at each other and nodded in silent agreement. "Well, it's not as if we have anywhere else to be, so sure!" Leon told the two dragons.

"Alright!" Shamy exclaimed. She walked by Leon and whispered, "I'm willing to bet Multi and Clefabulous are going to have lots of fun with you guys!"

"Um, who are you guys talking about?" Leon asked, but Shamy already took off, and Yuki smiled at him, shrugging. "Just a couple of our friends. You'll see them when we get there. Let's go!"

Yuki walked away and Kec charged off after the two dragons, screaming, "Yay, new friends!" Seeing as there was nothing to do about it, Kec decided to follow at a brisk pace, wondering what other interesting characters he was going to be meeting soon.
My contest entry to :icontheguynooneremembers:'s contest.

Yay, the DA premiere of Kec and Leon, the Kecleon Twins! This is also their first original story, as their first appearance was as the hosts of my FNAF truth and dare story, which I'll leave the link to at the bottom of the description. (Well, technically, Kec made his premiere in IcyNirana's truth or dare story, but I digress.) Basically, these two are just like brothers in every way. Kec is the wild, fun and careless one, and Leon is the more sensitive and reserved brother. But, they both have each other's backs when it counts, and that's all that really matters!

So, why did I choose Shamy and Yuki to star in this story? Two reasons. One, because I felt they would've had the best chemistry with Kec and Leon, and two, because out of all of TGNOR's characters, these two are undeniably my favorites! (Not that the others are bad, I just really like Shamy and Yuki.) And as for Tenebris showing up, it's because I needed someone to act as villain, and he just plain fit the bill, even to the point to where he loses almost immediately. Though, why he was trying to capture Shamy and Yuki, I'm not entirely sure.

My only concerns with this story is that I may have made the whole story a little short, the action sequence a little bit lacking for my taste, and I think Tenebris might actually be a little bit too evil here. After all, he's just supposed to be a prankster, according to his character sheet, but I don't know. I'll let Harrison be the judge of whether or not this was a good representation of him.

Oh, and for the record, I did not steal the whole 'pancakes on a stump' thing from TGNOR's Dual Quest comic. (Which is now cancelled.) But, I will admit that it may have been inspired by the 'waffles on a stump' thing from Shrek Forever After. I just thought it was a great scene to get the ball rolling.

You know what's funny? Whenever I think of my two Kecleon characters, I always imagine them done in TGNOR's style. Perhaps, whenever I get enough points to commission him, I might just ask for the Kecleon Twins to come to life from his hand. (Which would be nice, considering I can't draw anything truly worthwhile if my life depended on it.)

Also, just a quick update, I am working on the next chapters of both Pokémon Resurrection and my Random Doom fabric, so look out for those. Also, fingers crossed that I do well in the contest!
