I think this edges out the bronze one, but it was a close call. And sorry, I really didn't like Chromium. Sorry. :hug: Too flat looking I think.

hehe .. re: chromium :D

"c" was released because I read a thread on FF that clued me in on changing the DE # for larger (final) renders ... they implied 15, for a 3840x2400 type of image, but that has only given me MUSH .. the mouse-over tip implies "lower values give better details .. so I was rendering with, like, ".3" ...

rendering at 2 or 3 gave me a better finish on those pointy things .. and thusly, I posted a new version

I find the quirkyness of final render settings (and even coloring) to be time consuming and frustrating sometimes ... even just changing the size and keeping numbers the same can give you an unexpected result (after 10 hours, if you weren't watching it)

I've heard people complain of a lot longer than 10 hours, but I know what you mean. I still render at night. When I do.
