Journey Symbols Font

A font I made over at FontStruct that is similar to the Smybols found in Journey. All of the core letters and number are contructed out of the same pieces that make up the actual in-game Symbols, but arranged so as to appear visually similar to English Latin letter glyphs. I have also included symbols for punctuation such as brackets, hyphens, semi-colons and the like (basically anything that isn't an accented letter), although these are made using custom-made glyphs. Don't worry though, I made them similar to the Journey Symbol style! All glyphs, including the spaces, are the same height and width, meaning that the symbols will all line up in bodies of text.

Symbol pieces were created by the artists at thatgamecompany. Journey is copyright of Sony Computer Entertainment.

Awesome system.
The moment you see an know the letters is a kind of magical.
Well done.
If the game company (thatgamingcompany) would make the game PC friendly (if they want a larger fanbase and money!)
It be honorable if they use this language for in game texts. Possibly how the white robes would speak?

I love it!!!

Thank you! The Journey language is meant to be ambiguous so I doubt it'd ever be used. However I have seen a cosplayer use it to spell "JOURNEY" on their scarf, which was awesome!

These are very clever! Are you planning on releasing them as an actual font, or is this the extent of your work? I'd love to have them as part of my typeface collection.
