((If you don't like blood or needles, don't read this, pft.))
<--- My service. |D
TODAY WAS FUN.
Remember I said I was going to donate blood, si? Well, I did, FFFFFF. IT was... interesting. I arrived at the hospital, shaking and terrified, and was given some lame book to read which I ignored in favour of my ipod.
Then I was called to this first test, in which they prick your finger with a needle to test your blood- wheeeee I passed. THIS PART HURT MORE THAN THE REAL BLOOD TEST FUCK IT HURT.
My doctor was AMERICAN. I tried not to be distracted by his accent.
Then moar waiting. |D
And then the GOOD part. They called me over to this bed surrounded by other beds and I had to lay there whilst they put that blood pressure thing on me and then needled me without any warning and I was like 'OH SHI--" LOL it caught me off guard.
Mother kept ringing like 'Are you ok?! Don't do it!' And I was like 'No mother, I want to save lives." :I SUPER HERO PLZ.
And then other members of my family were calling me for support?! I was like 'I'm not giving birth, stop it!' **SHOT**
So then yeah, needled. Its kind of odd, watching the blood go away because the tube was all warm and I was like 'wergwerhher'. And you can see the bag and you think WOW thats a lot sob. But I listened to my music and kept quiet till it was over, and when they took it out I was surprised. It didn't hurt!? So I had been scared for nothing. </3
When I got up, I staggered, nearly fell, clung to the table.
It really does affect you. xD I stole chocolate from the free chocolate table and ran instead of waiting around. On my journey home I kind of felt it, because my arm was already hurting but my leg was really killing me for some reason, and I had to limp.
And by the time I got home, I walked in the door, and was asleep within five minutes for five hours. LOL.
Aaaand now I feel like shit. xD
It was worth it, though. <3 I have already booked another appointment.
GIVE BLOOD CHILDREN. APART FROM THE NASTY AFTER EFFECTS, ITS GOOD.
I FEEL HAPPY AT THE FACT I MIGHT SAVE LIVES KK. SCREW THE PAIN.DO IT MAN, DO IT
Love, Kazzu. <3
