Areas of Russia have become more and more popular among Urban Explorers, particularly areas within the former Soviet Bloc. Some of the images that are out there online are chilling, and risky. Under Russian law, trespassing on private property is punishable by a small fine, but entering abandoned and unguarded buildings is usually legal. Some owners have even commissioned urban explorers to enter their abandoned property such as factories, and take photographs for them.
