Probably some of the most eery kind of urbex photographs are that depicting Abandoned homes. I recently went to visit the offices in a village that I work in, that houses many people with disabilities. Most of them live individually in their own homes, but there is a huge complex tucked out the back that used to house lots and lots of individual peoples rooms. One day the building was condemned, and everybody just upped and left as it was. The tables are still set, the bedrooms are still full - it's quite bizarre. I will soon persuade them to let me in and take some photos! Anyway, enjoy some of the abandoned homes here on deviantART...
