Something tritn suggested I draw! I had fun with this~
Actually he didn't suggest this, he told me the whole plan. Concept, sketch, everything. Actually he did all of it and I just let him fly into my house and work on this on my laptop. Actually I'm using his laptop.

Okay, but I really did have a lot of fun with this!

Pokemon and Crustle belong to Nintendo

but for real I did draw this :'D

I love this! I started playing Pokémon in gen 5, so the Pokémon in Unova are very nostalgic and special to me.

Love Crustle, by far my favorite Rock type.

It's amazingly great. I don't know how you did it, but it looks so cute, the way this little Crustle so gentle, interested by this little plants. And I love how you added some herbs on his shell, and even in his shell. I have no idea what programm you used, how long did it take, but it was completely worth it!

Came here after watching a vid of TrueGreenSeven showing his fav art from around the web. And wow, I like your art so much I had to come over and tell you. I'd love these drawings as a desktop wallpaper, they'd do absolutely great. Oh, and happy new year btw!

It’s inexcusable how long it took me to reply to this; admittedly I saw it and was so stunned that I ran off to find the video and completely forgot to reply!
Thank you so much!! I’m very proud of this and even if it’s one of my older pieces, I still like it a lot. I also saw the video you mentioned and I’m honored to be included in it- thanks for let me know about it!
Its nearly May now, but happy (very) bleated new year and  I hope your year has been treating you well so far!

My goodness this is so perfect of one of my favorite runs of pokemon I have ever done. It was gardener themed and one of the MVPs was a Crustle =3

Okay, so I really love succulents and crustle and this is precious! I'm really fond of your outline/no line technique... it's so painterly Kay! Looks like each piece is a labor of love

Thank you so much!! hehe, succulents and Crustle are loves of mine as well, so it was relaxing to work on this!
I actually start with some semblance of linearthe for structure, but I color over it as needed. this was an unusual case in that I drew over almost all of that he lineart instead of cleaning it up :'D
I'm so glad you like this Heather!! thank you again~

;v; So pretty, I just love the textures in this. The way you handled the distance too, I just keep coming back to this picture~

Omg you think so? I handle distance pretty simply, just get real nonspecific about how big my brushes are and what I'm doing with them. atmospheric perspective is easy to fake when your style is built around faking impressionism.
But regardless. thank you vee!!
