hrrffft, finally it is done! this piece is really tests my patience!!!!

It is my comic of Edgar Allan Poe's 'The Raven'. The text here is not copied word-for-word from the original, I've edited and cut out a bit to fit my interpretation(and I think Poe's a bit whiny and long-winded sometimes :o). It became a real pain in the ass towards the end, but I like it still XD.

Btw this is a bit of Roman Dirge's Lenore fanart as well. I adore her soooo much! :D

Painting+Photomanipulation+Brushes

Cast:
- the Raven
- the protagonist
- Lenore (the usual bunch of people XD)
- PallOz
A & B - the Seraphims

Credits:
..and some more O_o(i lost track)

Ah... The Raven. A classic if ever there was one.
I like how you made this Lenore look like the one from the comic excepted with dark hair.

your English is fine, and thank you so much, I really like Tim Burton's stuff! My 'Kayness' is inspired by Lenore, a comic by Roman Dirge, who is in turn heavily influenced by Tim Burton. hehe

You have taken one of my most favorite poems in the entire world and done it justice my friend. Beautifully done. Loved your Raven.

This is just amazing! The style is great: dark and scary, yet cartoony and cute. :+fav:

Real creepy... I played the X-files theme while I read this at one in the morning. Such an amazing atmosphere you've given it. The characters look much like the kinds you'd expect to see in a childrens tale, but with a much darker atmosphere. Sorta like Tim Burtons works :D Definatley one of the best graphic representations of the haunting poem on the whole of DA. Very very well done

Lovely work capturing the eerie Poe mood. I like the speaker's expressions, especially his eyes. The speech bubbles taking over where there are spoken lines in the poem is another nice touch.

Does the bust of Pallas have a beard, or is it the lighting/shading?

Hey, very nice job!

And I agree, Poe gets a tad redundant after a while.

wow, that was good. it took awhile to read, and it was a bit confusing, but it was also an awesome interperetation of the poem. i love the facial expressons of the guy all throughout the story.....and the coloring is astounding! great job!

aw, thanks so much for your comment and a visit to my gallery! Yeah I admit it was confusing to read because I tried to put it in 'page' format and then pasting everything together to form one large document. I did this because I didn't want to spam my watchers' message centre you see :I
