A Momentary Victory

After successfully sending one of the Rikti dropships to its doom, Bayani takes a moment a brief moment to wave his Filipino flag as a declaration of war against the invaders, and triumph over one of the enormous vessels. The victory, only momentary, as other dropships lazily cross over the sky.

Whew. This piece took over 60 hours of painting, but I had a fun time doing it. It's one of the most involved commissions I've done to date and the snafu with painting the flag wrong actually turned out well! The Filipino flag colors should have been switched, however, as is, they're a declaration of war. The snafu came at a perfect time as City of Heroes/Villains customers were experiencing invasions in the game.
