Clockwork Heart by KayenBlurr Clockwork Heart by KayenBlurr
A project for my drawing II class...

The assignment was an "Inside Out Self Portrait"

We use elements of the anatomy and combine them in an abstract manner with an object that we believe represents ourselves.

I chose a pocket watch or a clock, depending on how you choose to see it... which, yes, I abstracted as well, by combining the heart and pocket watch and turning the ribs into hands of a clock... and so on.

I don't really want to ruin the symbolism of it, so I'm gonna stop now and let it just speak for itself.

I remember this project! It wasn't really my thing(kinda like all of Drawing II, haha) but it's definitely yours! Reminds me of the "spine" thing you did last semester...:)

Haha, thanks!

Yeah, it reminded me of that too... maybe I have some strange fixation on ribcage bones or something... I should probably see a therapist. Haha.
