Fly By Night Race

Amira came out of the trailer with proud confidence that morning. She was given the last bit of potion, and allowed all day to grow and get accustomed to them again. She was alert, but calm, so by that evening, as the lights were set aloft and it began to rain, we were all confident things would go well...

AN:
First time doing a night scene and first time trying to capture rain. I was both inspired by the seagull ref pic and the movie "Guardians of Ga'Hoole" when I drew in the rain droplets being shed by the wings. They disappeared when I blended everything in, so I pulled out my silver gel pen. Hence the shininess.
