Derek: A Free Verse Poem

I wanted to try drawing in a style inspired by Edward Gorey again. This is my first attempt at Adobe Flash that I've posted (I've done some other experimental animations before).

The metaphor is that Derek is an idea a person gets for an art project: The person plans and procrastinates at first. Then they eventually re-discover their idea. And then they decide to either finish their project and show it to people, or not.

:bulletpurple: Big thanks to `yuumei's tutorial on making Flash comics: [link]

I'm not sure if I got the load bar right, though. Can someone tell me if they can see a loading bar at the beginning?

Cool, but a little creepy when you said you ironed his internals.

You can also interpret it as "ironing out a person's personality traits," like, the way you would "iron out a problem." The electric iron is a macabre visual pun. :)

But thank you for your comment, I'd completely forgotten I'd made this. It was nice to take a walk down Memory Lane.
