Love your pattern.  Made it once as a Toothless for my daughter when she was 2 years old. Just made it again for her now but adapted!

i made one about a year ago and it turned out to be amazing, i would share a photo but sadly he died.

Cause of death: playful dog and me not paying attention for 5 minutes

This is the best tutorial on Toothless I've seen! I have a few questions though. How do you attach the eyes? What are they made of? What are the dimensions of the dragon?

Thank you for this guide.
Took me 7 hours to make this.
Though, when I was done, it ended up having an expression like this: i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2014/0…

It is freaking awesome, unimpressed Nightfury is awesome =D

Still need to get some better eyes for it though, the ones I have now are really bad.

Thank you so much for sharing this pattern. I have made my own giant toothless by enlarging your pattern, and he is amazing. I'm yet to stuff him but I am so very excited to have taken the time and effort to put him together. i did find attaching the legs/feet to the bottom part of the body to be much easier than attempting to do it once you'd attached the rest of the body together. apart from that and the aid from the head tute was pretty awesome. Thank you again for sharing your awesome pattern. :) I have a feeling i'm going to be making more as gifts for my friends :D

does felt work?

I'm doing this out of felt right now. It's really confusing because the pattern is made for materials that are similar on both sides.

I suggest you cut all the pieces of the pattern on paper as many as the pattern asks for because I noticed that sometimes the line up all wrong (one is fluffy side up and the other backwards). I'm constantly re-cutting some pieces so that they line up correctly. Don't make the same mistake :P

The confusion is just in the fact that I chose to make it out of felt ... the rest is really easy to follow. :)

Thank you very much! My son has had wonderful time making this little dragon. We made it from felt, so it was a bit hard to turn it inside out. Still, I think it's cute! Greetings from Hungary. Clap  :happybounce:
