"Mmmph... huh? Where am I?" Kork's eyes slowly began to open though when they did they felt sore and her warm head didn't make her feel any better. Kork looked around the plain one-room adobe and then the bed that she had been sleeping in with confusion "Who's... house... is this?" she thought slowly sitting up.

Flop

Kork looked down to see a moist blue handkercheif on her lap that was covered by the plain blanket. She placed a hand on her forehead "I'm sick?" she said quite puzzled and then looked over to the right side of the bed not only to see her boots and gloves placed by the bed's side but against the wall across from her was a half-asleep Klyde.

"... Klyde?" she asked raising a brow. The moment his name was said, the builder's head perked up "K-Kork!" he said jolting up and quickly made his way to the bed side "Your awake! H-How are y-you feeling?" he stammered.

"Where am I? What's going on...?" she asked ignoring Klyde's concerned questions. Klyde blinked and rubbed the back of his head "W-Well I went to visit you... and the d-door to the lab was open... so I went to see if you were ok... but you weren't. So I brought you here." he said pushing two fingers together.

"Funny... the last thing I remember was a headache and then trying to find the brew I use to cure that...," Kork thought to herself "Where's here?" she asked again.

"Um... y-your h-h-house..." Klyde informed meekly.

"My house?"
"Y-Yes... your house...."
"Since when did I have a house?"
"Erm, you've always had a house... you just never used it since your always in the lab..." Klyde stated.

Kork sighed "How long have we been here?"

"I'm not sure... a pretty good amount of time, I guess." Klyde said (he lost track of time). Kork sighed again and lied back down, she still felt a little weak despite the long slumber she had been trapped in. "I see..." she mumbled.

"If you want...," Klyde muttered "I c-could leave..." he said turning away. Suddenly a hand grabbed his own and the builder looked over his shoulder, baffled.

"I never said I wanted you to leave...," Kork mumbled closing her eyes "just sit..." the sick 'hoodian ordered. Klyde blushed and was glad Kork had her eyes closed "Y-Yes ma'am..." he said sitting down on the other side of the bed and propped his body up against the wall. There was an awkward silence before Kork slowly opened an eye again to see Klyde sitting against the wall "Why are you sitting all the way over there...?" she asked closing her eyes again.

"... H-Huh?"

Kork drew out one hand and patted a place on the bed where Klyde would be able to sit, and yet again Klyde was glad Kork had her eyes closed for that his blush deepened as he sat on the bed next to Kork.

There was yet another awkward silence and soon, Klyde began to doze off.

When Klyde awoke, he had expected Kork to be gone, instead she was sleeping right next to Klyde with one arm wrapped around his torso. The dark blush returned and Klyde gave a warm smile and placed the handkercheif back onto her forehead and fell back asleep.
