I decided to visit this picture a second time :) I really like the daunting perspective of the victim, and how everything towers vertically, plus your work with patterns creates a nice abstract approach to your art.

As for some constructive criticism, I do think that visually more attention needs to be drawn to the victim. Because he and everything surrounding him are engulfed in patterns, he doesn't stand out as much. Plus, with the cars nearby, I can see him being hidden from the vision of the crowd.

However, overall I still appreciate the meaning behind this and all the effort that went into it.

I have to admit I tried to make the victim a little invisble. Since nobody noticed the little child in the music video I would try to create a none caring vibe back then. But I get your point. Today I probably would have worked more to make him be the center of attention.

Thank you for your great comment!

I do believe love do exist, existed and will forever exist, but some people really need to open their eyes and see whats in front of them instead of being careless :)

Thank you for your kind words!

Well, I think you've shown it very well in this work of yours. Scenes like this can be seen everywhere. People ignoring people. People hurting people. Wherever you see there's suffering. Reality is not exactly a place very heartening to believe in love...

I have to say that is true. But once in a while we do see the love. But it is rare

it's very rare. I think most of the time we deceive ourselves saying that we see love. but it's only an illusion. I've come to think that real love is an accident..

It's a good ability to learn to be able to give people an opportunity to think outside the bubble of their own typical ways of thinking.

Lovely work, great amount of detail, really admirable. I feel that contrast could have been much higher so that all the areas of the painting are recognizable - it looks a little faded.

Actually it is on purpose it looks faded. I didnīt want the subject to stand more out because of the feeling I tried to acchieve. But Thank you1 I am glad you like it, and I will take you constructive critique with me when I draw the next one ^^

I had the video in my mind all day. so I came back to your drawing.

a little tip for realistic pattern drawings: seperate the foreground and/or the subject from the background. I think the background distracts a bit from the subject...
how you can do this:
maybe you can make the pattern in the background really big or either really small
but it would also help if let the bg appear very light and the fg darker, or reverse
do you know what I mean?
maybe this is easier when you make a sketch first, where you draw some light and some dark areas...dunno^^

I just thought this would add a nice thingy to your drawing! even if I like it a lot right now. but I would love the people to stand out a bit more and the background to be less noticeable.

I know what you talk about. I actually thought about it myself. Making it darker, making big patterns. I even thought about using colors. But when it came to the end I liked it just blended in, because the feeling of nobody cares is there. Like in the video. The people ignored the fact that someone is hurt. Its like people are in their own world without any kind of empathy. Itīs like they donīt see it, but they do. I could have created this to stand out more I agree. But then I didnīt get the goal I put for my self to acchieve. The feeling og people donīt care. The feeling of people not noticing anything is wrong. Do you get a little bit of what I think?

And I want to say before I sent this message back to you that I truly appreciate you take the time to write this and come with great constructive critism. Thank you!

aww thats cute, no prob^^
yeh I get what you mean. but I think the fact itself that all the people are white but the person on the ground not -it looks like the environment - tells a lot!
