This is my make-up from this: [link]

I have NO idea what to call it, so I simply called it Green Eyes. If you've got a name for it, let me know! If I like it, I'll put it up!

I used BH Cosmetics eyeshadow palette for the colours and revlon black liquid eyeliner for the dots!

I am moved by Earth tones, as they are my suited color scheme. In some ways it has the natural radiance and passionate skin of of freshly picked vegetable, but in many ways it is simply just natural beauty. That is the power of Earth tones as they enhance their canvas in the way. In addition, your eye color fits in perfectly with these shades of green adding further compliment to the overall image.

One thing I do enjoy is how those small dots make a sort of vision boundary every time I focus on them. While adding an extra bit of color and style to the eye lids, it acts also as a way to keep the looker from straying to far away from the main focal point: the shades of green.

Another accomplishment is how the brighter greens tend to draw the perspective towards the eyes, when opened of course, and away from the corners. The darker shading to the outside also serves slightly to camouflage the less important part of the eye helping as well to draw attention to the center and pupils.

Distancing may not yield as much of unique view, but it does intensify the colors. Up close they is more meshing, something that distance covers as it makes the image blur a bit more from my perspective, thus enhancing the brilliance of the mixing greens.

Overall it is quite beautiful and your eyes are improved by this green colorization. A neat piece of art through an even more unique medium itself.

First of all I want to say that I loved that make-up what you have done and the color of your eyes as well. In fact my eyes are the same dark-brown color but maybe only a little bit darker then yours because they look more like they are fully black in spite of brown. But because of the color of yours and mines I feel myself like a sort of predator who is looking in the eyes of the adversary of mine!

But now let us go to the make-up by itself! Like I said I loved what you have done and especially because you did this on your own eyes I am under more impression then I could think I may be! I do not know why the people are saying that your eyes are pretty (I do not want to hurt you feelings, just expressing my point of view) maybe it is just because I do not understand some what all those people wanted to say but nevertheless I think that the main object in this artwork still is the make-up but not the eyelids on which it was made or the shape of the eyes! Well, like I said I love what you have done. It is no just a simple make-up; I am talking about all the colors what you have chosen for this makeup. You did not like to go with more simple way and work only with one hue of the green color! In fact I know that there are more then 10 000 shades of green exist and I'm afraid to start counting how many shades of it are in this artwork! And the effect that you have done also amazed me. I’m talking about the tones that are on the photo when your eyes are open and when they are closed. It looks like when they are opened the whole make-up is much darker then when the eyes are closed! I believe it is because of those light “spots” of the color in the corners of your eyes (inner corners), and because that when your eyes are opened the watcher will not see them. I like it very much in your artwork! And I also liked the black dots that you have made all around the opposite corners of your eyes (outer corners). Even if they may look unsuitable because they are not in the main eye shadows they are still to be attractive and in fact from my point of view enough suitable for this composition (if I may say this)!

Well, I really do not know how you may name your artwork because even that I am “working” with the critiques and I love to write some but I never was strong in creating my own stories. I always liked to say that my own thoughts are running from me too fast that I can not catch them and put them into a paper! I know, sound silly and just like a pretext but I really never could write my own story; only some poetry but this was mostly like an outcome of a very unpleasant time in my life, so it isn't what I'm proud about. I need to work with a “facts” and the artworks of the others are what I always needed! I see that most of the people would like you to name your works in some ways with the words avocado, olives and kiwis. I do not think in that way and I even may say that you should just left your own name for your make-up because “Green Eyes” isn’t that bad! I like it more the olives, kiwis and avocado!

So, I think that it is a great work you have done here and the fact that it takes you ONLY 25-30 minutes is a huge complement for your talent and skill of the esthetician/makeup artist! Sorry that I really don’t know how much this make-up is suitable for the daily life (not just for showing us what you can do) but nevertheless thank you for showing us your unpredictable and unusual talent once more!

With all my respect.

Yet again a well-written and beautifully composed critique on an equally beautiful work of art! Now that I've read your views on this artwork, I also would love to critique this work. I don't know what I can say that hasn't already been said, but I love to critique so I'll give it a shot all the same.

Beautiful critique <3 Really enjoyed reading it, what a nice balance.

Unfortunately I'm not really good at this type of critiquing :/ If only I was, I would definitely have done so.

Don't worry! Do you think that I'm a specialist in making a critique on make-up? No, I'm trying myself in every kind of genre and just now it is a make-up! Only trying to do my best for everything!

And thank you for your complement! It is an honor for me!

I noticed that it may not be stated enough the natural power of earth tones in accordance with how these colors highlight a natural sense of beauty. After that, I feel you were spot on with stating the complexity of the greens and how they mesh along the same derivative color scheme.

One thing I noticed also was that the dots not only served as additional art, but they did two more entertaining actions. One, they enhanced the appearance of the outside lashes, and two, they served as a ground to stop the watcher and bring them back to the center of the eyes. But with color again, I agree that the colors draw you by their polarized colors to appreciate different sections of the eye. I though found myself draw to the brighter areas where the pupil resides, personal preference of course. I again hope this was well-received dear colleague - you were professionally astute and insightful.

Wow, I thought that I have hound more then half of all shades, dots and colors and the meanings of them! Wouldn't you like to write one more critique to this artwork? I would like to see your point of view and to realize everything I have missed here!
