I've tried to do a project like this before, only to be informed that the rear-routed body I'd ordered was out of stock, then when I accepted a substitute they sent me the wrong one anyway. This time a full kit, rather than just a body, was shipped without issue, and as Strat-types go this routing is the best for showing off a figured veneer.
