Another batch of madrone burl veneer arrived this morning, and I've glued up the first bookmatch.  This one will be going on the front, with the neck pocket sharing space with that moderate chip-out at the right end, and I'll be more careful trimming the pieces for the back, since the length of these sheets is borderline to fit the bass body.
