The next kit just got here, a day before I can even order the veneer so it'll go on hold once I'm done with fret work... and a little filing. This kit (body and neck only) came with a bone nut, cut lower/better than almost any I've ever encountered right out of the box, but it was a little too well glued in. Removal broke a bit out of the side there, and at one point I brushed away a sharp splinter without realizing that it was actually the broken-off piece. Can't find it now, so I'll just need to round over the wound. The nut definitely had to come off, as there's a lot of action on the fret rocker; small wobbles, but frequent. Leveling time, once the beam's re-papered and I've masked the neck.
