TALP 03

I forgot to get batteries while I was buying masking tape, so I'm still using my crap phone as a camera. This leaf was printed out as clipart, covered on the other side with a bunch of carbon paper receipts, then traced onto a wide swath of tape to be cut out then colored in. I also applied a coat of Tru-Oil before removing the tape, which is why it's so dark, which should help the green resist the other stains I'm planning to use. I'll probably use a small paintbrush rather than a rag to get the color into the narrow gaps, though.
