Description
With how hot the weather is, and how much wood I needed to remove to give the tuner knobs free play, I broke out my Harbor Freight one-inch belt sander to thin down the sides of the headstock once I'd drilled out the proper tuner holes. Today's mail contained the third 14mm drill bit I've ordered, and the only one with a 3/8" shank instead of 1/2" thanks to deceptive eBay listing pictures. Once the veneer's on I'll get started on a basic Tru-Oil finish.
