The small laser printer I got for minimum bid on eBay got here, so it was time to get back to work.  Since the front stain came out more burgundy or wine red than the blood red I'd been aiming for (not enough brown in the mix, I think), I threw out the skull and barbed wire clipart I'd gathered and instead found a royalty-free rose ring.  Step one of getting it onto the guitar is using the carbon layer from a book of old-style receipts, and tracing it on in several small sessions as my hand keeps threatening cramps.
