The neck angle's looking pretty good with that shim, may actually have to raise the bridge a few millimeters.  That rosewood that looks almost black in this shot certainly didn't in early pics; one taste of oil has given it a much richer color.  Counting the color-locking coats last month, this is the first half of the third coat, and since this will be a thin one I expect to be assembling the final guitar two days from now.
