This morning's first order of business was to shield the cavities, done at that time to provide waterproofing as I smoothed things with 1500-grit wet-sanding. I tried to get more lamp-glare to show the shiny but speckled surface; that little corner will have to do. It's not a full gloss, I was trying to show, but as close to one as around ten thin oil coats can manage. Once this final coat dries I can begin assembly, so the next pic will probably be the last for this gallery.
