The first half of the third coat is fresh in this shot, The blotches around the horn and upper bass side where glue seeped through the veneer are, thankfully, less visible than I'd feared. Somewhat more visible is the damage near the treble-side bridge post that I inflicted while trying to find the first hole. The post sleeve's rim will cover some of that, but unfortunately not enough. There probably won't be more updates for a while as we're into the boring part now. I'm thinking about ten coats will do, thin but glossy; we'll see.
