BFDC 05

I've fined up the rough rasp-trimming with a little 100-grit sandpaper.  In some places, like the electronics bay, a sharp chisel was a better tool than a rasp.  I pause now to let some heat-lock glue dry so I can iron on the headstock veneer.  Also in this pic are a couple scraps I tested some things on...  The 'black stain' was actually white vinegar.  Different woods react to acids differently, and I don't like this reaction, so I tried again with a little blue Mixol instead.  As I'd hoped, the results came out more green than blue; I'll be using that stain everywhere but the fingerboard and the back of the neck after just a few more prep steps.
