Some parts are trickling in (I ordered everything Friday, and it's now Monday) but others have only just shipped.  Today's trickle was most of the electronics, but the control plate and five-way switch were among the late shippers so I can only do so much right now.  I swapped out the blunt screws that came with the pickups (Guitar Madness '62s) for a set meant for humbucker mounting rings, shorter and sharper for direct mounting.  Drilling that 3/4" hole for the jack was good for some mild adrenaline shakes, as I don't use bits that size very often at all.  I drilled until the pointy tip of the wide bit was just shy of breaking through to the bay, then finished with a 1/4" regular bit.
