There's a bit of a difference between one coat of thinned tung oil and five more of Tru-Oil, so here's the rear with the latter.  I'll buff it down in the morning, then probably continue to build up at least as many coats, now that it's finally stopped 'drinking' the oil (i.e. leaving dry-looking patches).
