Now that I have a permanent designated space to dye fabric, I started ice tie dying silk for four dresses (each inspired constellations in the night sky of each season). I have the spring time constellation dress done, at least for an art show for this weekend, but there's a few adjustments I want to make before I wear it on a regular basis.
I'm also working on a few motifs for a print I'd like to make to be printed for a few projects. I have two of the motifs done and posted over on Instagram. The third one is slowly coming along. The last one is only a thought right now.
I'm also working on my Halloween costume. That was going to be my original art show entry, but since I'm making a corset for the first time and trying to rush, I was making stupid mistakes and it flat out wasn't looking right. The fact I need a better fabric is also a key factor. The costume is a Steampunk dress inspired by a peacock. Which I will also have a sketch done of it in the near-distant future.
I have a few other things I will work on, but this Steampunk outfit will need a lot of my attention for the time being.
