My aceo is dedicated to my beautiful friend and model
of this artwork my kind sweet friend Nina

I loved this pose of nina [link] even though it was turned sideways, i sketched a couple of ideas out and decided on a portrait i wanted to focus mostly on the eyes which i love drawing and to give it a more of a mermaid feeling i added a rose and some green/bluish tones on the skin (which my scanner didn't do much justice picking them up) and loved painting the freckles i think i may have gone a bit overboard with them

completed with color pencils and gouage.
