Kat is the Wednesday person for the @birthdays team, and a 31-year-old Ohioan writer with contributions to several anthologies, including previous editions of “Flashbang!” and “Collective Verses”, and she also has a short story in "Seasons Unceasing: A Worldsmyths Anthology". She has been writing fantasy stories since she was ten years old. Kat is currently exploring the route of self-publishing for her debut adult fantasy novel, “A Daughter’s Hope”. When she's not lost in the world of her own creation, she is usually found enjoying chocolate peanut butter milkshakes, playing video games/D&D, or watching “AITA” reactions on YouTube.

Mean Girls, The Little Prince, Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit, Harry Potter, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, most things by Disney and Marvel... I'm not terribly picky about what I watch!

Lucifer, Emily in Paris, Sherlock, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Miraculous Ladybug, CSI: Miami... I have A LOT of shows to go through!

Iron Maiden, Lindsey Stirling, Lady Antebellum, Black Veil Brides, Two Steps From Hell, Ghost, Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley... honestly the only genres I don't listen to are rap and hip hop.
