Bird's Eye View - Welcome to my world.

This took so long to do:faint:
I am sort of in a slump right now, having a hard time drawing & painting lately. But I'm always able to do pointilism no matter what. My pointillism pieces usually give a clear view of what is going on in my head....

This is a lovely and amazing piece! Well done on the pointillism. I really like the technique myself but my skills are bit "lacking" in that department. ^^; Somehow lines always make their way into my art whether I want um or not! I love all the little images you put in there it makes it very whimsical and interesting. :meow:

Thank you so much! Pointillism can be tricky. My earliest pointillism pieces had small lines in them :paranoid: But I think I've trained myself to only do dotted lines in pieces like this now :D

Well you are a far better artist than I if you are so well trained then. One of these days I might get there myself c:

lol! There's always hope as long as you keep trying
There have been many times where I have messed up to the point where I had to get out a new paper and start alllll over again...it's not fun but it's how we learn!

Oh this is absolutely inspiring...I've always found pointillism impossible- I just don't have that kind of vision! But you have it so perfectly done...those eyes especially captivate me...

ZOMG. I've loved this picture for a long time, and I was trying to see all the little animals in it when I finally saw the picture with the micron and the SIZE of the actual piece! I salute you and your steady hand!

Thank you :D
From sketch to finish, my artwork takes a few hours. Sometimes 3 hours, sometimes much more. For all my little drawings & watercolor paintings, I usually finish within one day. Larger watercolor paintings & small oil paintings take a long time sometimes...anywhere from a few days to a few weeks. It all depends on what mood I'm in, sometimes I really feel like painting and sometimes I don't :)
