Hello all 
My name is Katarina but usually called... or yes... always called Kat and I jump high every time someone uses my real name, usually associated with... oh no, now I've done something crazy again 
I am one of Deviantart's Community volunteers with a focus on Digital Art, Photomanipulations and AI art.
I've been a CV since April 2024. Oh! now that I think about it, it feels completely crazy that it's been over 2 years since Danie messaged me and asked if I was interested in joining the CV Team. I remember it like yesterday and remember thinking I was going to faint because I couldn't
believe it. hahaha 
But over two years have passed and what a journey it has been.
Anyway... I started my DA journey about 14 years ago, and back then I loved making photomanips. I remember sitting in Photoshop every free minute of my day and trying to learn the program and learn how to make manips and I kept doing this for 8 years.
Then life happened and I had to take a break, but a couple of years later I was back and felt like I wanted to press the reset button and start over and created this account and here I am now. 
I have always been fascinated by form and color and even as a child I painted and drew a lot, so continuing on that path has been natural for me. I love discovering new things to try, sometimes I like it and sometimes I don't. I think my interest in new things means that I can never really create my own style, something that I envy others for.
Lately I spend most of my time trying different AI generators to see the differences between them and let's be honest.. I think it's so fun . Some generators are great, but there are those that create the strangest images, so I get a good laugh every now and then.
If I completely stopped using Photoshop? No no, I still do digital paintings, icons and manips sometimes, but it's not as often because I think AI generators are really fun (right now), and everyone with autism knows that if we get a special interest we give 110% until we stumble upon a new interest
What I do besides DA in my free time... I love being outdoors and I walk a lot. Animals and nature are close to my heart (which may be hard to believe since I moved to Sweden's 7th largest city just over a year ago ). I take a lot of pictures of little things that make me smile, but I rarely show them because I'm a lousy photographer.
But here are a few... 
In the evenings I love to curl up on the couch and listen to a good book and crochet. Another maybe a little odd interest that I have atm is reading about Swedish law. Right now I'm reading The Swedish Criminal Code and The Swedish Prison Act, which I find super interesting.
So... yes, I'm a little odd, but knowledge is power you know.. hahaha
Anyway... that was a little about me and I want to take this opportunity to thank all of you for all the wonderful support I receive. You make my day shine every day
