Last year (2010), around July, I had decided to forego art for writing. I figured I couldn't concentrate on both so I made a hard choice. Within a month's time, I had my first paid for publication called Fate Whispers (currently up at Golden Visions Magazine's site for Spring 2011). Yes, it takes that long sometimes to see it in print. My gamble had paid off. I still dabbled in art but never took it as serious as I used to. Then I got a request from someone to do their cover art for a book. I met this person through a writing site and, honestly, I have a hard time saying no. Thanks to her, I realized--if I balanced my time--I could do both
