Steel Dominion - Cityscape by kasai Steel Dominion - Cityscape by kasai
My goodness, this took forever! I spent most of the time staring at it, overwhelmed with the amount I had to finish. :p
First started with blocking in the building shapes in layers, then painting the buildings in more detail. Used matte tecniques which really sped up the process.
That tall building on the left, I left looking like a paper cut out. It bugs when I look at it but I was too burnt out to fix.

After all this Steel Dominion stuff, I really just want to focus on one thing at a time so I can grasp it in it's entirety.

aaah, this is stunning, and exactly what I was looking for to use as reference for what I'm writing. Wonderful style and detail.

Very nice. I'm no art critic, but the composition and colors combine to present a powerful emotional impression.

Hi!

I loved that work!
I'm conducting a Vampire The Masquerade Chronicle and i would like to use that picture in a Webpage i'm creating for the players. I will give you credit for your work.

If you don't want me to use it, please, contact me and I'll remove it as soon as possible.

Take care, thanks and good job!

I used the Letter-O-Matic font in Photoshop. Comic sans may work too.

This kind of work diserves all the credit it can get, it's just a huge amount of time and effort you spend on it. Gotta love the end result ;)

Some of the buildings are real. I modified their perspective and destroyed them to fit in the illustration. Much faster than painting the buildings from scratch.
