A review of a demo CD:
Equal parts Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd seasoned with Rush and King Crimson; excellent mixing and production. What could be better? Oh yeah, the lyrics. Sharp, insightful, compelling, like the razor's edge that cuts away the trivial and exposes existential meaning. Best listened to repeatedly at high volume while reading the words. You won't need to read for long because soon you'll have them memorized, coming back throughout the day. My standard commute music. I feel self-conscious that the driver in front of me can see me singing in his rear view mirror but I'm unable to remain quiet. Always repeat "40 Days" - and this morning, the line "Why you? You could be anything!" hit me with such force that I found tears in my eyes. If your goal is to produce and distribute valuable musical contributions, promote progressive, truthful ideals, and attempt to touch people's lives with the unique understanding that only good music can provide - then you have succeeded.
