Original: Sixties Kunoichi by karniz Original: Sixties Kunoichi by karniz

Drawn: April 17th, 2011
Program: Pencil & Photoshop CS3
From: Original

Drawing I did almost in complete darkness - only illuminated by the lights of some Christmas lights that I had nearby... I couldn't find my regular desk lamp, hehe.

I was compelled when I saw an old 60's portrait - a cute girl with curly hair and a hat that reminded me of an owl somewhat.
The weapon is there because I had to.

holy crap i am in love with this. the outfit, the pose, the colors. Everything is so amazing... and I am in love with her expression. And this was done in photoshop? Holy crap. yeah, I think you beat photoshop into submission! hahaa~!

Is there a reflection of a person in her eye? if so, that is beyond epic. if not, then I am slowly going insane.

drawn in pencil, then CGed in photoshop. Since I was majorly having problems with the brushes I started looking onto my favorite CGers and I followed a thing on brushes that Loish posted... it immediately made me enjoy painting in the program!
I will be attempting a commission next in Photoshop... granted, it's only colors... but still!

And no... there isn't a body... so yes, you must be going insane. ♥
