Midnight twilight burning through sunfire hair, lavishly lusciously lingering there.
She twists and turns and spins to the lightly lilting music of the night.
No one's able to catch this butterfly babe, basking in the magical glow of aching adoration.
Intensely intoxicating her infectious laughter soars upwards to the diamond glittered sky.
She dances, she weaves, she sings, she placates, she brings you to your knees
Before silently whispering a breathless goodbye and flitting flutterby to the next twilight, another adventure waiting to be caused-but for her it's just another day
"Look," he said. "I'll show you the way."
So I looked but he was wrong. That wasn't the way, so I walked further down the road.
"Come with me," she said. "I know the way-it's here with us. Come and play."
So with her I went and play I did but her's was not the way either so on I moved traversing the long, winding road.
"Stay," he said. "Stay with me. Mine is the only way."
So I stayed. Longer than I should have because his way was anger and words, violence and fists. Despite the pleas, the admonitions, the threats, I moved on once again, searching for the way.
"I love you," he said. "Together we'll make our way."
So hand in hand we wal
Sweet, you make me forget.
Angel of Mercy
Take my pain
And hide it far, far away.
Sink into oblivion
Angel, wrap your hazy arms
Around me.
A moment of pleasure
For a lifetime of pain.
Make me forget
With your sweet love,
Sweet ecstasy
I have with you.
Make me forget
My Angel of Mercy.
She walks in silence
Alone in her pain
Far from the one
Who loved her well.
She floats, unseen
Through the world
Only memories of another
To sustain.
She falls from grace
To her knees
Silent pleas through the cascade
Unable to reach.
She sighs, alone
With thoughts of Him
She weeps, alone
As the fire grows dim.
