Wow. It's been AGES since I made a new one of these. I'm working on them for the Lanthorn again, but I figured I'd post it here in case anybody didn't get to see it!

Obviously it's pointing at my current struggles. ^_^ oy.

Materials: Neopiko pens, paper
Time: 3 hours? maybe?

Can't say that I've ever managed a head-desk-compile, but then again, I haven't worked on C++ in many years.

I once deleted a program I was working on on accident, just pressed cmd+delete to the wrong time. I was so frustrated cause it was hard work and I of course didn't do a back up.

Yes sometimes programming can be frustrating. I forgot a    ;   and everything else is in your pic

use java and this wont happen.
FreakySheldon Featured By Owner Sep 2, 2014
A few of my projects with Java do not run anymore and I didn't even change the code or updated the compiler or anything. But I also got those things in HTML, C# and C++ so that doesn't really fix it :D

What languages do you use the most?
FreakySheldon Featured By Owner Sep 2, 2014
I started with Java and programmed it for ~2 years, then I got a little frustrated cause, because Java was originally meant as a language for console applications, Java didn't do double buffering on Windows so creating an own GUI wasn't good due to the flickering graphics. So I started to learn C# and after creating some nice little applications I switched to C++ and SDL, what I'm still working with now. I also tried Assembler, even created a little OS with it but that languages is incredibly unreadable and hard.

So I actually program C++ the most and then Java.

how 'bout you?

Ah! The eternal struggle! Curse! Swear! Threaten inanimate objects! Then nirvana of success. You capture it perfectly! :)

The worst part is program error, have to re-check (or even re-work on the whole thing, which I have experienced twice)... bad day with C++.
ZerglingDitte Featured By Owner Jan 30, 2011  Hobbyist General Artist
Hahaha, I am totally having a programming assignment that is going just like that. :P
Isisdeia Featured By Owner Aug 6, 2010  Hobbyist General Artist
XD wonderful, I know what that is like! I'm trying to take the errors but they still are there >.> and then we do something stupid or put something (like a comma for example xD) and its done! :D
Ch3rry-Blossom Featured By Owner Feb 20, 2010
Yep it's like that sometimes xD
Happens a lot when I'm programming in C -.-'

nice work ^^

I want to take this to work and put it on my desk. Hilarious
Nerdiboy Featured By Owner Oct 19, 2009
That happened to me once! But, there were some notable differences, namely my computer getting it's face(monitor) smashed in.

This brings to mind the time where I accidentaly put compile and run to a different key... I could get it to run, AND my mouse was desabled. I accidentaly pressed the button... Good times.
Karmada Featured By Owner Sep 18, 2007  Hobbyist General Artist
Hahaha. sounds like something I'd do. AWESOME. :D
DavidAmador Featured By Owner Apr 7, 2007
ahahahah, i'm a programmer and this happens a lot :P
madwriter Featured By Owner Sep 30, 2006
My sister does that sometimes. Only difference is that whenever she hits the keys the computer brakes down. ^_^' I have no idea how she does it

Why do computers get so easily confused.

Headsmashing teaches them a leason though X3
Karmada Featured By Owner Feb 4, 2006  Hobbyist General Artist
Well, I think I can simply say it with a quote I found a while back (I can't remember where)

"Computers will do what the programmer tells it to, the problem is that it's never what the programmer WANTS it to do."
joxxkiryu Featured By Owner Feb 2, 2006
Ahahaha, I sometimes do that myself XD You have a magical forehead that fixes program! Woo =3

Fun comic ^^
Mathowamew Featured By Owner Feb 2, 2006
Gods... I hated my C++ days of that.. 's probably why I never went any farther than INTRO to C++.
Karmada Featured By Owner Feb 2, 2006  Hobbyist General Artist
This seems to be a common remedy with C++ (see above reply I gave!)
rionofbahamut Featured By Owner Feb 2, 2006
Thats how my Java class goes somedays. Some code works fine, the rest goes back and forth.
dragonjewels Featured By Owner Feb 1, 2006  Hobbyist Artisan Crafter
I remember those days with Java :XD: Though that "mass input/headsmash" bit really only works in C++ , if I'm not mistaken :giggle:
Karmada Featured By Owner Feb 2, 2006  Hobbyist General Artist
Funny you should say that.....I AM working in C++ at the current time. :giggle:
